The Found Sound Series continues in 2017 with two more releases. Found Sound VI – Lauds and Found Sound VII – Matins are two long-form ambient pieces using short instrumental samples adjusted with iOS technology and Plogue’s Bidule.
The original Found Sound Series (I-V) is available for complimentary download at archive.org and available for purchase at bandcamp.
Released Election Eve, November 7, 2016, The Pledge is available as part of the Deluxe Edition of Mike Vasas III.
Originally released June 10, 2016, this record is the first in a trilogy of self-titled records featuring original soul, R&B, funk and pop. The Deluxe Edition was released November 4, 2016, featuring 40 minutes of bonus material including “The Pledge.”

I created this record in multiple phases; some parts were done exclusively on iOS and some parts of the process were done in Cubase on my desktop. I’ve decided to share the tracks and apps involved to celebrate the app creators and programmers involved. I hope this helps. Since 2012, I’ve released a Christmas-themed mixtapes as part of my “No Mixtapes in Lansing” series (sometimes a handful of hour-long mixtapes) every year. I am big fan of music around “the holidays” but feel there are plenty of great collections of “pop-Christmas” music.
